SIAP SIAGA Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion Toolkits
To improve program impact and performance, SIAP SIAGA has developed a Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GESI) Strategy that aims to ensure that:
1) Gender, disability, and social inclusion are integral parts of planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting in all outcome areas.
2) Appropriate investments are made, and knowledge management activities implemented, to ensure gender equality, disability and social inclusion issues are effectively addressed and receive priority attention among the program partners.
This checklist is intended to support SIAP SIAGA and its partners in implementing strategic objectives in terms of gender equality, disability, and social inclusion in program management. The checklist is expected to be used in all stages of programming to address gender equality, disability, and social inclusion implications to support the objective of local resilience.
This checklist is a living document that will be adjusted and improved as SIAP SIAGA continues to learn and adapt to the process of integrating priorities for Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion, particularly in regard to other marginalised and disadvantaged groups within the diverse context of disasters.
This checklist is for the internal use of SIAP SIAGA and its partners/grantees.
